Inverdoorn Private Game Reserve
Inverdoorn is a 10 000 ha game reserve situated in the Ceres Karoo, a scenic 2½ hour drive from Cape Town. It hosts: Buffalo, White Rhino, Giraffe, Zebra and a large variety of antilope including Kudu, Lechwe, Oryx and much more. There is an abundance of bird life with more than 165 species observed.  During your game drive you will experience a spectacular sunset from the look-out point. At night our clear skies with myriads of stars are absolutely breathtaking.

Also has a lodge with 10 luxurious chalets & 2 family houses with exclusive contemporary decor. The restaurant serves modern French Cuisine with a South African touch. Swimming pool, golf driving range, quad bike tours, TV lounge, gift shop, open 4x4 safari vehicles and conferences.

Kagga Kamma Private Game Reserve
Set amongst the beauty of the rugged Cederberg Mountains, Kagga Kamma (15 000 ha reserve) lies high up on the Swartruggens range that separates the Koue Bokkeveld from the endless stretches of the Karoo. Their guides will share their knowledge of the San people and their culture and their knowledge of the unique mix of flora and fauna and geochronology, making the experience so special.  Game that roamed the landscape still remain: Eland, Gemsbok, Black and Blue Wildebeest and Rheebuck to name a few. Offers game viewing, scenic sundowner trip, stargazing by powerful telescope and guided quad bike safari.

NATURE RESERVE:

Matroosberg Private Nature Reserve

The Matroosberg Reserve is situated on the farm Erfdeel, approximately 35km from Ceres. The Reserve covers more then 1000ha of mountain area, and reaches Matroosberg peak, which at the altitude of 2247m is the highest in the Boland. During the winter months, the Matroosberg Mountains is often covered with snow. After a good snowfall, the northern slopes remain snow-clad for quite some time and you can drive to the snow in a 4x4 vehicle.

Other activities include a 4x4 trail, hiking trails, abseiling, fishing, quad biking, team building and more. Also has a variety of self-catering options and camping.
