Is situated 13km outside Ceres and is one of the oldest farms in the area. Here, mixed farming is practiced with apples, peaches, pears, sheep, grain & dairy. The farm also boasts an abundance of indigenous wildlife, including suurpootjie tortoises, leopard (tracks on trail), fish eagle and many other birds, baboons and buck. Further attractions and activities include perennial waterfalls, proteas, fynbos, beautiful rock formations, hiking, various mountain biking routes, swimming in farm dam, etc.
Guests can be accommodated in the self catering house or in self catering eco- huts. The house has solar power and gas, and is fully equipped. The house has 4 double rooms and a loft area with a double bed. The eco-huts are rustic. There are six two-bed huts with a lapa, camping grounds and stylish plumbing, with hot & cold water. |

Fairfield is a picturesque and fully productive fruit farm at the foot of the Skurweberg Mountains, just 6 km from the town of Ceres. In winter the cottages have a spectacular view of the snow-capped mountains, with indoor fireplaces to keep the chill out. We have seven self-catering luxury cottages: three cottages on Rhodene & four newly renovated cottages on Voëlvlei. Only an hour and a half’s drive from Cape Town, and 500m off a tarred road, the farm is situated at the foot of the Skurweberg mountains with a view across the lush Ceres valley. Our area also offers great birding opportunities. For the adventurous there are 4x4 routes, fantastic cycling and mountain biking.
